Jason had his head stuck in head phones all throughout his teen years. He listened to songs over and over and over, searching for any missed harmonies, as many background vocals of artists he could recognize, and any variations in radio edited versions of songs. He also loved listening to remixes. They were almost always better. Partially, he thought they were better because they were longer. It always excited him to hear how the artist threw more creativity into the remix to make it so much different. Jason received a really great scientific point of view on electronics and sound in Naval Aviation. He obtained a Roland keyboard, with a few different piano sounds on it, in order to play along with lots of different songs. He was tapping into being a musician because he loved the idea of creating new sounds and genres. After the military he bought a Korg Triton Studio, he had a dream to have a Music Production company. He wanted to produce and engineer songs, and help train up artists. Jason attended, now, Pensacola State College for music for a several classes. After he stopped attending school he got a job installing commercial sound systems into churches, court-rooms, stadiums, etc. At the same time he began running a sound board at the church he attended. It was a satellite of a main, larger church. After about a year, he went to another satellite campus, and ran sound for about 6 months. He moved back to the west coast to reconnect with family, finding that he had to go to school for what he was designed to do.
Jason is more excited about music being his career, and all the obstacles it involves, than ever before. He has a desire to encourage people with their gifts to make something great. Now Shout7 Productions is born and he is recording in his studio.
